Sri Sathya Sai Baba RIP
I do hope the controversies will end now. Irrespective of the campaign against Sai of his miracles, we should recognize and respect the good deeds he has done to the people and the preaching of 'Prema' amongst all human beings irrespective of their religion, caste, creed, nationality. Simply follow the preachings - which are mostly the same by respected Mahaans of all religions - and do not harp on the miracles. Request the non-believers not to hurt the sentiments of the followers in their hour of grief.

What a contradictory statement!
While acknowledging the fact that he stood as an example as to how a man should be use to his Society, his so called holistic (!) and cosmic (?) powers in getting Lingam from mouth, Gold Ring from air and other things were nothing but attempts to draw attention from gullibile public (read common man).
At the same time, one can not forget the fact that sudo rationlist leader from Tamil Nadu could not resist believing in his powers.
Like thousands of souls that leave this materiastic world, this soul too departed.
One who knows about or has had the darshan of Kanchi MahaperiavaL, may not give more thought to the demise in question.
False allegation on this noble man. These westerners will never accept any other Son of God or God himself.

சாய் வாக்கு சத்ய வாக்கு:" 95 வயது வரை வாழ்வேன்" என்று சத்ய சாய் பாபா ஏற்கனவே கூறியிருந்தார். இதனால்தான் மார்ச் மாதம் அவர் மருத்துவமனையில் சேர்க்கப்பட்டபோது, "பாபாவுக்கு ஒன்றும் நேராது; அவர் உடல்நிலை தேறி மீண்டு வருவார்" என்று பக்தர்கள் நம்பிக்கை தெரிவித்து வந்தனர். இந்த நிலையில் சாய் பாபா தற்போது ஸித்தி அடைந்தது எப்படி என்று சில பக்தர்கள் மனதில் ஐயம் எழலாம்.
இது குறித்து சாய் பாபாவின் தீவிர பக்தர் ஒருவர் விளக்குகையில், "நாம் ஆங்கில முறைப்படி ஆண்டுகளைக் கணக்கிட்டு, சாய் பாபாவுக்கு தற்போது வயது 86 என்று கூறுகிறோம். ஆனால் ஹிந்து முறைப்படி சந்திரனை அடிப்படையாக கொண்டே ஆண்டு நிர்ணயிக்கப்படுகிறது. அதாவது ஆங்கில முறைப்படி ஒரு மாதம் என்பது 30 அல்லது 31 நாட்கள். ஆனால் ஹிந்து முறைப்படி பூமியை சந்திரன் ஒருமுறை சுற்றி வரும் காலம்தான் ஒரு மாதம் என கணக்கிடப்படுகிறது. சந்திரன் ஒருமுறை பூமியைச் சுற்றி வர 27.3 நாட்கள்தான் ஆகிறது. அந்த அடிப்படையில் கணக்கிட்டால் சாய் பாபாவுக்கு தற்போது வயது 94 ஆகிறது. மேலும் ஹிந்து வழக்கப்படி அவர் பிறந்த ஆண்டே முதல் வயதாக கருதப்படுவதால் சாய் பாபாவுக்கு 95 ஆகிறது. எனவே சாய் பாபா தமது ஆயுள் குறித்து தெரிவித்த வாக்கு பொய்க்கவில்லை; சாய் வாக்கு சத்ய வாக்காகவே இருக்கிறது" என்று தெரிவித்தார்.
