This ad does not understand Gandhi at all. After independence when Hindu-Muslim riots were going on, Nehru wanted Gandhi to address the Nation (from Delhi) and help to quell it. But Gandhi did not believe in this kind of "preaching from the podium" stuff. Instead he chose to go to one of the epicenters of the clashes (in Calcutta) and demonstrated the power of love through action.
Preaching peace and love from a podium will not work. And actions speak louder than words.
